If you want to relax with friends at the end of a long day, head to one of the following breweries where you can enjoy an ice-cold beer, music, and fun games:
Tighthead Brewing Company
Nestled in nearby Mundelein, the Tighthead Brewing Company is where locals gather for great music, great company, and the best beer in town. The taproom is designed as a cozy living room, and it features dozens of exciting board games. Food trucks are on-site every Thursday, and their meals pair with beers such as Chilly Water, Irie IPA, and Boxcar Porter.
Visitors can also enjoy one dollar off of every pint Mondays and Tuesdays through April, and a lively round of trivia on Wednesdays.
Buffalo Creek Brewing
What was once an art studio is now a Bavarian-themed brewery called Buffalo Creek. It was established by Mike Marr after he decided to turn his passion for home brewing into a business. The taproom features cedar walls and communal tables, while the biergarten offers an expansive deck and scenic views. Musicians perform on Saturday nights, and visitors are welcome to bring their own food. Beers include Burning Red, 360 Pils, and Hallows.
Mickey Finn’s Brewery
Founded in 1994, Mickey Finn’s is the oldest brewpub in Illinois. It’s located inside a century-old urban industrial building, and the staff has served over five million pints since opening. Visitors are entertained by live musical acts on Friday and Saturday evenings, and they always enjoy attentive service. Beers include Bohemian Hopsody, Yorkie Bitter, and Russian Imperial Stout. If you’re hungry, try the organic beef burgers or fish & chips.
Along with these breweries, The Mil’Ton is also near top shopping destinations and renowned cultural attractions. To call our vibrant apartment community home, please contact us. We would love to show you our amenities and available homes firsthand.Back to all posts
